Delightful apartment with stunning views

The apartment totally lived up to its description. It was comfortably furnished, well equipped and the views across the Etang de Thau were wonderful. We had very good weather and enjoyed eating on the terraces of various restaurants on the harbour – just a few minutes walk away. We also took a trip on the Etang in a skippered 3 ft sailing boat: we had to motor back as there was not much wind but it was most enjoyable. We hope to visit again soon.

A perfect location in a delightful town

The apartment is located right on the waterfront of Marseillan and is in the perfect location. The town centre is 5 minutes walk away and there are numerous restaurants and bars nearby. Shops are close to hand, so you can buy bread, fruit and veg and meat on foot. The main beach of Marseillan-Plage is about 10 minutes drive away and is a huge long sandy beach. The view from the windows and balconies of the apartment is wonderful and you really get the feeling that you are on the sea, but still part of the town. The apartment is lovely, with a very comfortable bed and well fitted out. The owner was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. We really liked Marseillan and the surrounding area and hope to get back soon!

Idyllic peaceful holiday apartment in Marseillan

The property was very well maintained and furnished to a very high standard. We took my parents for a weeks holiday in May They have difficulty in walking & the lift was a great help they spent many happy hours just taking in the view and were able to stroll to the harbour & nearby restaurants. The location was perfect we travelled to Sete and Agde with beautiful Montpellier just over an hour away. Both Hazel the owner & Carole the local contact provided excellent service & were very approachable I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone & hope to return in the future

“This is an excellent place to stay both as a base for exploring the surrounding towns and beaches etc. and as a clean, comfortable well appointed flat. The owners and their local representative were a delight to deal with. The port has a great selection of eating places and the location of the flat on the sea front means a constantly changing seascape is available to view through the large living room window. Very relaxing! We had a great holiday here”.
We had a fabulous week’s stay in Salicorne last September when Marseillan was filled with the heady aroma of the grape harvest. The location is just perfect: a short stroll from the restaurants and bars of the old port yet with nothing between the sofa and the view of the lagoon. The windows that disappear into the wall are amazing and to be able to sit on the sofa with a glass of local Noilly Prat to watch a complete rainbow over the water was very special. I hope to stay in Salicorne again.
